Galway ink was established in honor of Theo's (The Irish Son's) Family who are from Galway Island. Galway has always been a part of their dreams as Theo was always inspired and interested in the Irish heritage about the caltic designs.

 

He then based his art according to the designs but still was able to arrange himself to the clients tastes ending up to do a bit of everything.

 

Galway ink was established round about a year ago in 2016. They started out as a home studio based on passion. They have managed to grow immensely in a short period of time learning as they move forward. They always focus on hygiene, sterilization, customer care and always going the extra mile to make you feel secure.  They only use the best of the best. Ink's, needles and the latest technology with sterilization. They keep perusing the optimum to ensure good quality and crisp lines..

Their ink is directly imported from the USA Texas which is Fusion Ink. Their equipment is two in core power supply with heavy duty cables. This ensures that the correct amount of current pulses through, this way the machine does not splatter. As mentioned before this creates the crisp line with the perfect ombre of color when desired. Mikey Sharp machines which is the best of the best. It was said..."The world could come to an end the last thing standing will be a Mikey Sharp Tattoo Machine". Galway has been working ONLY with their machines for over 10 years.

 Theo who not only owns this company but does tattoo's for a living has personally picked up his first tattoo machine when he was 18, only aspired to learn and grow from there. Yet he has always been around the tattoo industry since he was 13. He was blown away when a biker was driving past him, thinking how a single needle could create such astonishing art. he felt a need to pursue this urge and landed a job as helper to get to know the art.

 

He grew by doing stenciling for the tattoo artist at the time. He firmly believes steeling with your eyes, this way he became very detail orientated with regards to art, detail and sterilization. 

He always stayed passionate and pushed himself to become better. He practiced different techniques on paper and soon became popular for applying it into his tattoo's.

 

When an opportunity arised he took it with both hands, his first tattoo was over 9 hours (koi fish on a forearm). After returning back to work and showing the tattoo artist the unique creation he has designed, he got offered a job immediately. He has never stopped since then as his passion for tattoos only grew stronger. according to documentation he has he has done well over a million tattoo's and only desires to keep on improving. Not only does he have a passion for tattoo's but has advanced himself into piercing as well.

They focus on realism, the famous black and grey, color, flash, tribal, Maui, silhouette... and the list continues. This is Thoe's sense of freedom and not only a job. Yet you put in 110% of yourself through broken bones and mental concentration and struggle you need to focus on your goal and keep pushing forward. He believes that a tattoo gives you a sense of self worth and plays a big role with accepting yourself and showing your confidence.

Galway ink has a very straight forward policy and that is enjoying the art, freedom and unique urge to assist where no other tattoo artist will dare to go. They  do not justify themselves to not do a tattoo, they focus on what will satisfy your needs as a client.
